The Conference, entitled, “Corridors: Connecting BC Communities” examined communities outside the larger urban centres of British Columbia providing an opportunity to understand how the diversity of these landscapes requires us to increasingly develop the techniques and tools of our profession.

The topics that stood out the most for Stephen included “Risk Based Land Use Planning” where Squamish was used a precedent case study on the topic of this important issue, a talk centered on the South Britannia Beach Master Plan, and updates about the Development With Care Guidelines for Urban and Rural Land Development in BC.
